This 1952-53 Cleveland Barons Calder Cup Championship watch was awarded to Lex Cook and has his name engraved on the back. It is in EX-MT condition and does run, though it needs a little work to get it in top time-keeping order. The watch has a gorgeous face with "AHL CHAMPIONS" in lieu of hour numbers and "Cleveland Barons, Calder Cup 1952-53" appearing in the interior. It has 10 karat gold-filled casing. The Barons were primarily a minor league hockey team in the AHL, but they did enjoy a cup of coffee in the NHL in the late '70's.
