Offered is an extremely rare 24-count wax box of 1970 Topps Super baseball cards, featuring the reigning National League batting champ Pete Rose on the box top. The 42-card set is a treasure trove of superstars and Hall of Famers and these MINT packs could contain high grade examples of Roberto Clemente, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Reggie Jackson, Carl Yastrzemski, Bob Gibson and Harmon Killebrew. Also, Boog Powell, power hitter for the American League Champion Baltimore Orioles, was severely short-printed and is one of the more difficult cards to locate. This box is the nicest example you could ever find, fully unperforated and pulled straight from a sealed case in 1970 and tucked away ever since. In fact, the box appeared to even have never been opened before being fully authenticated and wrapped by BBCE. One of the best conditioned vintage unopened boxes you will ever see. A true investment quality unopened box.
