A rare style from a true legend and Hockey Hall of Famer, this full set of jersey, pants and socks was game used by Craig Patrick during his playing days with the California Golden Seals. First is a yellow home jersey with green trim, "Seals" on front in green-on-white twill and "14" on the back in same green-on-white. Patrick's number "14" is on both sleeves in green twill, the original green lace is in the neck with Wilson size 46 tag in the collar and clip style fight strap inside. Clearly visible is the outline of the name "PATRICK," which was sewn on above name on the back but this was removed by the team as it was not custom to wear names on the back every game. It shows nice use with team repairs on both sleeves and one on the front, pilling inside and some stick and blood stains on the outside. The green pants with yellow and white trim have Cooper tagging inside and are also marked with a "2," including original lace-up fly and they show nice use. Finally, the matching pair of hockey socks are yellow, green and white wool. Part of the first NHL expansion from the Original Six in 1967, the Golden Seals' franchise was purchased in 1970 by Charles O. Finley, who changed the team colors to match his other popular squad, the Oakland A's.
