Eight 35mm black and white camera negatives of Muhammad Ali being interviewed by the irascible Howard Cosell are offered in this lot. Also interviewed is his Canadian opponent, George Chuvalo, pictured in 1972 in the ring after the fight. This is the second Ali fight with Chuvalo which virtually ended his career, and was his last major fight. Interestingly they remained friends for life, in NM-MT condition. The original negatives and images in this collection are by the personal photographer of Ali's manager Herbert Muhammad. Unpublished, they have not seen the light of day for five decades. Recently discovered, they come with the photographer’s rights. All of the negs/transparencies are unique, “Type I” images that can be used to make prints and products of the finest quality and huge scale.
