It was one of the most memorable teams on the most memorable tour in baseball history. The 1934 "All-Americans" tour of Japan featured some of the great names of the era, and this Official American League (Harridge) ball includes 18 signatures from that barnstorming squad. Included among the luminaries are: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Moe Berg, Connie Mack, Charlie Gehringer, Lefty Gomez, Earl Averill, Bing Miller, Joe Cascarella, Earl Whitehill, Frank Hayes, Rabbit McNair, Lefty O'Doul, Hal Warstler, Clint Brown, Doc Ebling and one unidentified on the sweet spot. Though the Japanese team included 11 players who would earn Hall of Fame status in that country, the US squad was dominant in convincingly winning all 18 games played.
