This is the first of this set that we have ever seen, a rare hand-painted black and white pop art ceramic Felix the Cat condiment set which consists of salt, pepper and mustard which is what typically makes up a condiment set. Marked "Made in Japan," the set is pre-war Japanese, the mustard is in three pieces with the spoon as the winsome tail. Excellent paint with no discernible flaws, no chips, cracks or crazing, Felix has wonderful googley eyes and is a sight to be seen. The set measures 4" and 3.25" in height, and is overall in EX-MT condition.
