The finest specimen we have seen, this is in its original Victorian frame in black ebony wood with brass platelets and gold leaf edging. The Stevensgraph itself is near perfect (reds have turned a tiny bit pink) and is imprinted, "Woven In Silk By Thomas Stevens, Inventor and Manufacturer, Coventry and London (Registered)." One of the rarest and most desirable of the Stevensgraphs, these woven silk bookmarks were popularized by Thomas Stevens in the late 19th and early 20th century. This is the only one we have seen in its original frame and was recently discovered in England of all places. Fresh to the market and a feast for the eyes, it measures 12x9" overall.
