The major cities across America developed their own versions of The Fillmore. In Boston it was The Boston Tea Party, In New York, the Fillmore East and in Detroit it was The Grande Ballroom. The Grande Ballroom produced a series of most postcards and handbills by artists, Gary Grimshaw, Carl Lundgren, Donnie Dope and a few others, that in many ways rivaled the San Francisco series both in quality of design and in the stature of the performers that played there.

Included are Led Zeppelin, Detroit, Cream, the Who, the Yardbirds, the Grateful Dead, Hendrix, the Chambers Bros., Donnie Dope, Jeff Beck, Deep Purple (Cleveland Grande), local artists, MC5.
