Two tickets to Paradise! These very rare souvenirs come from the season prior to the Milan Indians' shocking ouster of Muncie High School in the 1954 Indiana High School Championship Game. In a preamble to that historic feat, the Indians actually made the state finals in 1953 before succumbing. Here we have a ticket stub (VG) to the final game on March 21, 1953, at Butler Field House, as well as a second full ticket that was issued to Milan starting forward Bob Engel and has "PLAYER" stamped on it. Comes from the March 20, 1954, final game at Butler and has tape stains at the edges and is creased. Comes with a letter from Engel as this was his personal ticket.
