In the realm of vintage pro basketball jerseys, this is a special specimen, having once graced the back of 6'9 rebounding machine Connie Dierking, who set the University of Cincinnati rebounding records for a game (33) and season (18.8). Shortly after leaving the Bearcats, Dierking returned to the Queen City as a pro, reuniting with college teammate Oscar Robertson and posting his greatest professional seasons as the Royals' center. Here's one of his mid-1960s jerseys that is blue with "ROYALS" vertically on the front along with his number "24." Sewn directly on the back is "DIERKING" with "24" below. There is Wilson Size 48 tagging on the front tail and the all-original jersey shows very nice use.
