The blue fountain pen signatures average around 6/7 in strength, with Lefty Gomez and Joe McCarthy (clubhouse signatures) located at the top of a panel. Other Notables include Joe DiMaggio, Bob Feller, Jimmie Foxx, Hank Greenberg, Lefty Grove, Joe Cronin and more. The NL All-Stars bested their AL counterparts, 4-1 that July afternoon with hometown hero Johnny Vander Meer earning the victory with three innings of one-hit ball. Gomez took the loss but still pitched well in his own right, allowing one earned run in three frames.
