It's the seminal read on the early days of baseball, and this beautiful signed copy of Albert Spalding's "America's National Game" (1911) is Inscribed: "To Admiral H.W. Manny with the compliments of A.G. Spalding Point Loma Calf, Nov 11th 1911." It was later gifted to a lucky boy in another person's hand below. This is a gorgeous copy with perfect gold leaf and solid binding. Spalding had been intimately involved in the game, first as a player and later as an administrator, dating back to the 1850s.
