The Monsters of the Midway warmed up on the Soldier Field sidelines with heavy wool jackets like this beauty, which was game-used during the late '50s and early '60s when the Bears were a solid if unspectacular club (back-to-back 8-4 seasons to round out the decade). Comes with an LOA from Bernie Lareau, the team's athletic trainer for over 50 years and to whom this great old artifact belonged. There's a football-shaped patch on the left breast that reads "Bears" in script. The back is plain black and the arms are made of leather. Rayson Sports tag in the collar. Shows nice use and is in EX condition.
