In 1948, the Cleveland Browns were a perfect 14-0 and won the championship, but don't look for that in the NFL record books! This beautiful piece was given to players in lieu of rings to celebrate the championship of the All-American Football Conference. Carved in 10k gold with a diamond in the center of a football above the name "BROWNS," it is engraved on the back to "Edward Ulinski." Ulinski was a four-time AAFC championship winner and later became a coach. NRMT. While the '48 Browns have been enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, as the short-lived AAFL was formed as a competitor, the NFL does not recognize its records, leaving the 1972 Miami Dolphins as the only "perfect" team in pro football.
