In 1959, MLB broke with tradition by playing two All-Star games to help support the players' pension fund. The first game was held July 7 at Forbes Field with the National League winning 5-4. Less then a month later game two was played on August 3 in Los Angeles, in which the American League triumphed, 5-3. From this unique moment in MLB history comes this Official American League (Harridge) ball featuring 29 AL All-Star signatures including Mantle, WIlliams, Killebrew, Ford, Berra, Wynn, Aparicio, Stengel, Bunning, Kaline, and more. The ball is slightly coated and EX+ while the signatures are 7-8/10 overall.
