Red Sox aficionados will cherish this vintage gray road uniform from the 1955 season. The Jersey is all original and has "BOSTON" across the front in blue felt. Goodman's number "10" on the back. There's a McAuliffe tag on the front tail with 55 (year), 40 (size), 2in (extra length) and 10 (player number) stitched below. Washing instructions are listed on the inside front tail. The pants have a McAuliffe tag in the waistband along with "No 26, 1955, 34 28ins" stitched. The Pants have another player's number but match the jersey. Also comes with original Red Sox leggings, belt and cap. The hat has McAuliffe tagging and "16" written under the bill. It was not worn by Goodman. All are in nice condition and show game use. The 1955 Bosox finished fourth in the American League with an 84-70 record.
