This sharp gray road jersey was worn by Minnesota Twins first base coach Vern Morgan, whose coaching career was cut short after complications from a kidney transplant proved fatal four years later. The item is all original with "44" on the back and a Twins patch on the left sleeve. Spalding and "71 SET 2" tags are on the front tail. There's nice use but the jersey is in fantastic condition. Morgan was a lifetime .300 hitter during a 15-year minor-league career after playing briefly for the Chicago Cubs in 1954-55.
