Cliff Johnson was one of the most versatile, clutch players in baseball history, excelling as a powerful pinch-hitter while also offering quality time at catcher, first base and outfield. After having helped the Yankees win two World Series crowns in the late 1970s, Cliff was a valuable member of the early '80s A's, also managed by former Yankees skipper Billy Martin. This 1982 Oakland road jersey is all original, shows nice use and was obtained directly from Johnson. "OAKLAND" is displayed on the front in green and gold lettering, and "JOHNSON 44" adorns the back in green. There is an Oakland Athletics exclusive tag, alongside a Sand-Knit size 46 tag on the front tail. It is signed on the front in 8/10 black Sharpie.
