Joe Sakic was the first to hoist Lord Stanley's Mug this past season and, in a classy move, quickly passed it on to teammate Raymond Bourque. This maroon Koho air-knit was worn by Sakic during the first half of the team's Championship season and displays the 2001 All Star patch on the right breast and the captain's "C" on the opposite side. Game use includes a number of board burns, stick marks and slashes with a few unrepaired holes. Tagged in the tail by CCM, the neck tagging has been removed. Team set tag in the tail reads "Official Issue, Colorado Avalanche, 00/01 Set I-1". Comes with team Letter of Authenticity on Avalanche letterhead.
