Patrick Roy surpassed Terry Sawchuk's all-time regular sea-son wins total during the 2000-01 season to become the top goaltender in hockey history. He closed out the season with the Conn Smythe high over his head. Not a bad year! This maroon Koho air-knit was worn by Roy during the first half of the team's Championship season and displays the 2001 All Star patch on the right breast. The front crest dis-plays a few good stick slashes and the sleeves have a pair of unrepaired holes. Pilling appears in a few areas on the interior. Tagged in the tail by CCM and again in the neck (Goalie Style) with the size "58" fly tag. Team set tag in the tail reads "Official Issue, Colorado Avalanche, 00/01 Set I-1". Comes with team Letter of Authenticity on Avalanche letterhead.
