A treasure trove of sports history chronicling the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's, these scrapbooks contain years of newspaper cutouts from renowned sports cartoonist Amadee Wohlschlaeger, who plied his trade in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch from 1932-'81 and who often contributed to the St. Louis-based national sports weekly, The Sporting News. There are a half-dozen glossy prints of Amadee strips which appear to be original galleys. Many of the clippings in the albums are loose and coming unglued from the books. There is some minimal water damage but the collection is VG overall.
