Originally obtained in upstate New York from the estate of Joe Louis' manager, Marshall Miles, this gold-painted bell and striker appear to be from the 1930s-40s and were used at Chicago Stadium for boxing and possibly wrestling matches. The bell sits on a wooden base that has "GOLDEN GLOVE" stamped on the bottom. It is in EX condition: the striker shows use in the form of wear on the paint and the bell has some stains and strike marks. The bell has changed hands several times and comes with a detailed LOA.
