This brightly painted porcelain statue, produced in Germany by Heubach during the 1890s and standing 12.5" tall, depicts a pitcher in period uniform. Many of these figures did not survive, due to their fragile nature and those that did are often chipped or cracked and repaired. There is evidence of such restoration here with black epoxy is inside the lower left leg. In addition, the black stripes on the socks in back appear to have been repainted. Otherwise, this rare find appears to be in EX condition.
