A stunning red wool offering from the 1949 NHL All-Star Game played on October 10, 1949 at historic Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. Beautiful and thickly stitched NHL crest with 1949 embroidered near the bottom. Five white felt stars sewn across the chest. Blue and white stripes accent the shoulders down to the ribbed red cuffs. Number “4” stitched in blue and white below five white stars sprawling across the upper back. Proper McNiece’s Sports Montreal tagging inside the front right hem. Light use as expected from one game with 14 very small holes on the front, four on the back, and a few on each sleeve. Excellent Hall of Fame caliber piece
