An incredible pre-World War II wool in immaculate condition. Impressive felt black and gold number “9” on front chest with a 1” vertical team repair below and to the left. A few stray threads around the number, but it remains very solidly affixed to the jersey. Felt Boston “B’s” on each sleeve above the three striped elbows. Sleeve cuffs show light brown staining from leather gloves. Second felt number “9” sewn on back also remains in perfect condition. A second team repair on the back right hem in the gold stripe. A few small blue stains on the back left of the jersey do not detract from its overall beauty. Horace Partridge Co. Athletic Goods Boston manufacturer’s tag inside the back left hem alongside size “42” fly tag sewn to the right. Double elbows on each sleeve with light external pilling from the elbow pads being worn on the outside of the jersey. True vintage Boston hockey history.
