Jack O'Brien was born on January 17, 1878 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He won the Light Heavyweight Title from Bob Fitzsimmons on December 20, 1905. He retired after fighting Ben Koch on June 17, 1912 with a final record of 148-12-19 with 51 KO's. Offered here is a magnificent advertising silk for Philadelphia's Jack O’Brien. This silk pictures O’Brien at the center and has his colors around the perimeter. The silk is in fine condition with bold color and virtually no staining. Approximately 36” x 36.” It has been professionally framed, but there is some damage to the border of the frame. Exceptionally rare, possibly one of a kind.
