The personal thoughts and insights of one of sports true geniuses are available here in James Naismith's personal "Book To Live By". The book is a panorama of Naismith's intricate beliefs and ideas, consisting of many typed pages with extensive handwritten notes outlining their borders and sentences. Topics range from a large amount on indoor sports to exercise, the human body, reflexes, skill levels health and schooling, amongst many other things. Not surprisingly, there are also some self-made graphs and charts included in the pages. The material seems to be compiled between the years of 1910-1930 and is collected and stored in a black loose-leaf binder. As the 100+ page personal log attests, Naismith wasn't above needless doodling and newspaper comics.
