A hard hitting collection from the Brown Bomber. Best of the lot is a 1935 on site poster for the infamous September 24, 1935 bout between Louis and Max Baer - the first poster of the event we've ever handled. It has been slightly trimmed and is laminated. Numerous creases and cracks though the cardboard. Taped at some spots and a piece the size of a quarter is missing from the lower left corner. After all of this, it is still a looker with red and black printing on a yellow background. Bottom border of poster is printed with "Empire City Job Print, Inc." along with address. Other two items in this lot are a can of Joe Louis Hair Pomade (VG-EX) and a bronze medal with original box that has "A Tribute To Joe Louis" printed on top. Medal is double sided with Joe on one and image of him knocking down Schmelling on the other (NRMT).
