A wistful remembrance of John L. Sullivan, the widely recognized boxer who is considered the sport's first world heavyweight champion. The Boston Strongboy wrote this letter to a Mr. James Niven in 1906 from the Congress Hotel in Chicago. The letter seems to be in relation to some construction that Sullivan was having done that Mr. Niven had a hand in. The letter is creased twice in three-fold letter fashion and is donned with an illustration of the Congress Hotel Co. Small rips at the creases but still a great addition to any boxing fan's collection.
