Pair of Houston Astros game-used home jerseys from 1970 and 1971, both with the old "Shooting Star" logo and "Astros" across the front. The logos differ interestingly, as follows: on the 1970 jersey, navy blue on orange on white tackle twill “Astros,” blue star with orange swish; on the 1971 jersey, orange on navy blue on white tackle twill “Astros,” orange star with blue swish. On the front left tail of each is the white "Wilson" manufacturer's label with size "42" in red, below which are embroidered in black the years "70" and "71," respectively. Each has the Astros logo patch sewn onto the left sleeve. The 1970 jersey has the player number "21" on the back, corresponding to outfielder Norm Miller, the 1971 jersey has the player number "23" on the back, corresponding to pitcher Denny LeMaster. Jerseys show nice game use and appear to be all-original with the exception of both sets of player numbers on the backs, which have been restored.
