Magnificent “Stevensgraph” was created by the esteemed British maker of these finely woven silk commemoratives. One of a series of sports pieces, the other good one being baseball. This is the football version and is just as rare. Best of all it is in its original decorative matte and reads, “Woven by Thomas Stevens, Inventor and Manufacturer, Coventry and London (Registered).” Fabulous gilded edges and superb quality. Matte and Stevensgraph itself are overall EX-MT. Original frame has some wear which is unimportant. Matte is about 8.5x5.5”.
