Linebacker Bill Pellington played an integral part in his Baltimore Colts winning two NFL championships in 1958 and the following year, 1959, and here we have a terrific jersey (circa late 1950’s) from the star player of that standout era in Colts history. His blue # "36" still clings solidly to back, front and both sleeves, while with significantly less success, mere remnants of the white, washing instruction tag and blue MacGregor tags remain sewn on the front tail, as both tags have fallen out from heavy use. We count no less than 18 vintage team repairs. Even with great, heavy use, this jersey is perfect for display, as its soiled, broken presentation is the way that a game-used football jersey should look!
