Not every boxer has been able to wear the rugged and impressive-looking International Boxing Federation’s Championship Belt. The IBF is one of boxing’s “big three” and as such has been the sanctioning organization for many international fights and world champions. If you want to feel like a champion, you’ve got to wear the belt of one! In this case, it’s a salesman’s sample that you can just imagine could be worn by a champion after his opponent went (and stayed) down for the count. The belt is thick and eye-catching and comes with fleece backing. Front and center, a huge medallion seal of the International Boxing Federation along with the seal of the World Champion. The raised signature of Robert W. Lee is just above a pair of golden, raised boxing gloves. The full -wing spread of a golden eagle looks down. On the sides of the belt are a pair of golden mirror-like eagle-encrusted medallions, all attached to a simulated red leather backing. The backing has some slight wrinkles in it. The front of the belt measures approx 11”. The open waist band measures approx 42”. The belt has a strong Velcro closure along with a rear 3 1/2 x 5” golden buckle with the raised word, “Official” as well as a pair of fighters and the IBF seal. Wow...what a knockout!
