The brown background cards from the set known as T207 have proven to be one of the toughest tobacco era sets to find cards in high grade. The surfaces are often riddled with tiny spider-web cracks which lower the technical grades of most examples. Here’s a superb, crack free example of the card of the Pirates’ John Ferry. It’s one of only 3 copies graded PSA 7, with none graded higher.
