1914 Baseball felt “Blankets” B18 collection, totaling 57 items. Players include Joe Jackson (the scarce yellow pennants), Ty Cobb (white infield), Walter Johnson (green pennants), Casey Stengel, and many more. Some duplicates and color variations. These colorful items were intended for promotional use, and wrapped around several popular tobacco products. A few of the blankets in this group still retain remnants of the original product wrappers. The 5 1/4” felt squares were called “blankets” because many were sewn together to make covers and throws. Various infield colors include white, green and blue. Overall condition EX.
