One of the most compelling and famous images of Babe Ruth, taken on his last appearance at Yankee Stadium on June 13, 1948. There the Great Bambino stands facing the crowd dressed in his #3 uniform, about to take his final bow. This 8” x 10” B&W photo is in great condition and is signed on the back in pencil by Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Nat Fein. The photo’s simplicity speaks volumes, and is especially poignant since he passed two months after it was taken. It’s a beautiful shot of the Great Bambino at home in “The House that Ruth Built”.
