No one will ever confuse the cards from the 1951 Parkhurst set with the great artworks of the world, but their importance can not be denied. Several of the greatest players of all time have rookie cards included in the set, like Gordie Howe, Boom Boom Geoffrion, Rocket Richard and the man that many consider to be the greatest goal keeper of all time, Terry Sawchuk. Here's a stupendously nice example of that card, one with a crisp feel to it, dead on registration and bright color.
