These personal items of John F. Kennedy Jr. were originally sold along with his 1977 Cessna Skyplane. One particularly moving memento is the 4 x 5" American flag he kept in the cabin, as it revives memories of the young "John John" holding the flag and saluting his father's coffin at President Kennedy's funeral. The other items are flight preparation materials including: 1) U.S. Terminal Procedures 3 December 1988 (Northwest); 2) U.S. Terminal Procedures 3 December 1998 (Southwest); 3) U.S. Terminal Procedures 8 October 1998 (Northeast); 4) At-a-Glance Airspace reference guide and weather minimums. All items were left in the aircraft when it was purchased, and are in Mint condition. Sadly, JFK Jr.'s zest for life carried elements of danger, but he also found moments of peace in the cockpit, and these items only underscore his commitment to living life his way.
