Hall of Famer Joe Morgan was an integral part of the "Big Red Machine" of the mid 70s. This hardy tan colored Louisville Slugger model S44 has Morgan's name stamped into the barrel and his number 8 written in black marker on the knob. Morgan signed this beauty in green marker, "Joe Morgan, MVP '75-'76". The signature is clear and rates a "9.5" out of a possible 10. The bat has many ball marks and shows great use. There is Reds team tape on the barrel that reads "May 20, 1977". Bat has a hairline crack and some dead wood on the barrel and was originally purchased from the Reds Gift Shop.
