Game 5 of the 1941 World Series DiMaggio flies out deep to Pete Reiser and kicked up some dirt in frustration when he crossed over the diamond from second base. Dodger pitcher Whitlow Wyatt had some words with Joe and it looked like a fistfight. After some words it was broken up as shown in theses two 5x7” & one 4x5” image. Later in the locker room (according to Gene Schoor and those in attendance), DiMaggio was asked what happened.
