Given the choice following their 1953 World Series victory, Ewell Blackwell, already having a ring from the prior championship decided on this handsome silverplate award. Engraved with the signatures of all his teammates and measuring 13" in diameter it exists today in EX condition. Light tarnishing on the reverse and more noticeably on the tray's face where one small area (1.5") of silver has been removed exposing the copper below. LOA from Blackwell.
