The jersey is original as issued and displays heavy wear, including light scattered staining (mainly on the front) and a few small holes. 1956 marked Gino Cimoli's first season in the Majors. Appearing in 73 games, Cimoli batted .111 with no home runs and just 4 RBI. The following season he became a starter in the outfield, batting .293 with 10 home runs and 57 RBI. He retired in 1965 with 44 home runs, 321 RBI, and a .265 lifetime average.
