A check from 1908 signed by Frank Farrell, an original owner of the New York Highlanders (later the Yankees), and George Stallings, a prominent player and manager from that time period. The 14th Street Bank check, signed by Stallings, is made out to Farrell, in the sum of $3,334.00. The check is endorsed on the back side by Farrell. The item is encapsulated by PSA/DNA and the service has authenticated both of the signatures. Dubbed the Miracle Man for managing the 1914 Boston Braves to a sweep over Philadelphia Athletics, Stallings passed in 1929 at the age of 61. Farrell would sell his stake in the Yankees in 1915 and he would pass away in 1926 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
