A Madison Square Garden program from the March 13th, 1963, boxing match between Cassius Clay and Doug Jones. The black and white magazine cost 50 cents at the time and the cover features a photo of one boxer throwing a punch at another. The cover is detached and has writing in the bottom right corner but is otherwise in fine shape. Clay, later Muhammad Ali, was 21 at the time of the fight with Jones and it was one of the more difficult bouts of his early career. But the legend went to 18-0 with a decision over the veteran. Less than a year later, he would win the heavyweight championship for the first time. This is an important piece of early Ali memorabilia.
