Rare tri-fold postcard issued in promotion of the historic "Fight of the Century" between Jack Johnson and James Jeffries held in Reno, Nevada, on July 4, 1910. This novel postcard features portrait images of the fighters on the central panel, but each fighter's respective image can only be seen when folding over one of the other two panels bearing either a blue or green plastic cover. In this way, the recipient can "Pick the Winner" as instructed along the base. (When both panels are folded over neither fighter's image can be seen.) The offered postcard has been addressed and mailed, with the postmark dated "Reno Nev Jul 2 1910." The postcard (3.5x6"; folded) displays wear commensurate with its age and former use, including tape residue on the interior red-paned panel, as well as light creasing and minor stains. The stamp has been partially removed.
