Circa 1994-97 Tony Gwynn San Diego Padres signed game used bat. Flame burned Louisville Slugger Model B267 ash bat measures 32.75" and weighs 30.8 ounces. Uncracked, tremendous use is displayed with white tape remaining on the bottom of the handle, pine tar residue further up the handle, bat rack paint transfers, and assorted ball marks and scuffs on the barrel. Number 19 and "B267" are written on both the knob and barrel cup in thick black marker, and bat dimensions are also written on the knob. It is autographed between trademark and barrel stamp in 9/10 black Sharpie, surrounded by ball impressions, making for a fantastic display befitting a Hall of Famer. On the short list of elite pure hitters in MLB history, Gwynn played all of his 20 seasons in San Diego, highlighted by the period covered by this very bat; from '94-97 he captured four straight NL batting titles (half of his NL record of 8, tied with Honus Wagner) while batting an amazing .371 combined over that span. In 1994, "Mr. Padre" made a serious run at the legendary .400 mark, falling just short at .394. Comes with full PSA from LOA, with the bat earning a perfect grade of PSA/DNA GU 10. Full LOA from PSA for the signature.
