The bat shows heavy signs of use as ball marks are visible on the barrel, and there is a crack on the Louisville Slugger label. Damon signed the barrel of the bat with a blue Sharpie marker, and he added, "To Dugout, Your #1" above his signature. Damon's uniform number 51 is written on the knob of the bat in black ink.
