Circa 1977-78 Andre Dawson Montreal Expos signed and inscribed game used bat. Walker-style ash bat with natural handle and brown barrel is a Hillerich & Bradsby Model K55 measuring 35.0" and weighing 33.6 ounces. The bat has a handle crack and exceptional use displayed includes pine tar residue and scattered wear throughout the barrel. Number 10 is written on the knob in black marker and there are some light red ink/paint transfers; it is autographed beautifully in 9-10/10 silver Sharpie below the barrel stamp with "Game Used bat - late 70's" scripted below. The Hall of Fame slugger played in just 24 games for the '76 Expos before earning Rookie of the Year honors in '77 with an impressive .282 average and 19 home runs, thus dating this to very early in his 21-year career. The Hawk was a 4-time Silver Slugger winner but was also legendary for his powerful arm in the outfield, earning eight Gold Glove nods. Comes with full PSA from LOA, with the bat earning a perfect grade of PSA/DNA GU 10. Full LOA from PSA for the signature.
