Detroit Tigers road jersey worn by slugger Cecil Fielder during the 1992 season. The gray knit jersey is lettered "Detroit" across the front and features the number "45" on the reverse. "Fielder" is lettered on the reverse, directly above the number. All numerals and front lettering are applied in navy on orange tackle twill. All reverse letters are applied in navy tackle twill. Located on the left front tail are a "Rawlings 50" label and an adjacent flag tag reading "Set 2 1992." The jersey is original as issued and displays light wear. Fielder enjoyed another banner season in 1992, batting .244 with 35 home runs and a league-leading 124 RBI. From 1990 to 1996 Cecil Fielder was one of the game's most feared sluggers. Fielder averaged 36.9 home runs and 113.4 RBI during that seven year span, including league-leading home run totals of 51 and 44, respectively, in 1990 and 1991. He also led the league in RBI for three consecutive seasons from 1990 through 1992. He retired in 1998 with 319 home runs and 1,008 RBI.
