A New York Mets jersey worn by Manager Jeff Torborg during the 1993 season. The style of this jersey was only worn by the Mets during that year. The front tail tag shows that the garment is a size 46 and was made by Russell Athletic. The jersey shows some wear with fading on the tagging and loose stitches on the letters and numbers. Torborg has signed the jersey on the front side, adding, Mets Manager 92-93. A catcher in the MLB from 1964-73, Torborg would go on to manage the Chicago White Sox, Florida Marlins, New York Mets, Cleveland Indians, and Montreal Expos. He passed away in 2025.
